After meeting up with the gang he claims to know where Goku will land in a couple of hours. Who is this mysterious stranger? Goku has finally returned to Earth. After he lands, the mysterious stranger named Trunks asks to speak with him in private. During this conversation, Goku and Piccolo learn from Trunks that he has come from the future to warn them about a coming danger of monster androids cyborgs that kill almost everyone.
He tells Goku that shortly beforehand he will die of heart failure and he has also brought medicine to ensure Goku can be there to confront them. There are also some surprising revelations about Trunks heritage. Everyone has been training intensely for the past three years to get ready to confront the androids and the prophesied day has finally come. Goku and the gang search South City for the androids the old fashioned way after learning they cannot sense their energy.
After Yamcha gets Yamcha'ed when finally finding the androids the gang convince the androids to take their fight out to a wasteland Piccalo conveniently knows about.
Something about Goku also seems off; he did take the medicine right? Goku's Super Saiyan form was an unexpected variable for the androids, and he is taking them to the cleaners. Unfortunately, it turns out Goku was not taking his medicine and collapses, grape flavored go figure.
Things are looking grim when Vegeta reappears. Has his training paid off this time? After Vegeta utterly dismantles android 19, Android 20 flees, and everyone else takes off in pursuit. The two parties play a game of cat and mouse.
Trunk's has finally returned and joins the fray only to reveal some shocking information on the androids. After shooting down Bulma's air car, Android 20 gets away. Bulma reveals that Android 20 was actually Dr. Gero the creator of the androids and gives them Gero lab location. Will they stop Gero in time? Gero has managed to activate the androids, but it turns out they were not to keen on being under his thumb and kill him. Also, there was another android named 16 who's sole purpose is murdering Goku.
After agreeing that sounds fun, the androids begin their quest of tracking Goku down. The Z-fighters and the androids face off for real this time. Will they be able to defeat them? The androids utterly defeat the Z-fighters except for Krillin In the wake of their defeat, everyone contemplates what do next.
Piccolo goes off to see if Kami will fuse back with him. The androids take a pit stop in their quest to kill Goku to acquire a car. Krillin and the gang move Goku to the literal second place the androids will look; Kame House.
On the Z-fighters way to Kame House Bulma sends some concerning information. Android 18 stops to get some new clothes. Gohan, Trunks, and Bulma investigate the site of a strange company vehicle and find another time machine that seems to be identical to Trunks. What is going on here? After Piccolo fuses he goes to investigate a disturbance in ginger town. What he finds is a ghost town with nothing but clothes strewn about.
Who could have done this? Piccolo faces off against the sinister Cell A bio-mechanical android form the future hell-bent on achieving his perfection who drinks people. Can Piccolo survive this deadly new foe? And what does Cell mean by perfection? Gero's lab ruins to try and find his secret lab and destroy it. Meanwhile, Cell's carnage spreads to Nickytown. Goku finally wakes up after an extended fight with his illness; Feeling the need for more training to take on the androids Goku decides to gather the Saiyans and take them to the lookout to train.
In order to convince Chi-chi to allow him to take Gohan along he makes a deal with the devil. After also collecting Vegeta and Trunks Goku heads to the lookout to get permission to train in the hyperbolic time chamber a unique space where time slows down so someone can get a year's worth of training in a day.
The only catch is that only two people can go in at a time, Vegeta and Trunks head in first. Meanwhile, the androids having found Goku's house deserted fly over to Kame House only to find Piccolo. Frustrated they demand Goku's location, but Piccolo refuses, and they take their fight over to a series of uninhabited islands.
Piccolo and 17 face off. Unfortunately, their fight draws out an unwelcome guest. Cell crashes the androids and Piccalo's party. Krillin speeds off to retrieve the androids detonator, and Tien goes to help Piccolo. After Piccolo is put out of Commission by Cell Android 16 has to step up to stop Cell from absorbing the androids.
Can he stop Cell? After Cell absorbs Android 17 things seem dire for 16 and 18, but Tien arrives and puts his life on the line to buy time for them to get away. Now that Cell is stronger than ever can Tien hold the line? After Goku gets back from rescuing Tien and Piccolo Trunks and Vegeta come out of the time chamber and head after Cell who is destroying all the surrounding islands in his search for the androids.
Will their training be enough to defeat Cell? Goku and Gohan begin their training in the time chamber. Meanwhile, Vegeta's new power allows him to bulldoze Cell and it seems like all is lost for Cell, but will Vegeta's hubris be his downfall?

Popo takes the Z-Fighters and teleports them to another dimension. Meanwhile, King Kai promises Goku that he will commence their training. The magical dragon, Shenron, is summoned and brings Goku back to life.
Nappa and Vegeta land on Earth and fly off toward the strongest power level. Piccolo senses the approach of the Saiyans as Krillin arrives. Nappa explains to Piccolo that Piccolo is a Namekian. Vegeta decides to plant the Saibamen explaining that each is as powerful as Raditz.
Nappa steps onto the battle field and attack Tien, removing his hand. Tien escapes, making Nappa think he wants to play tag. Chiaotzu hops onto Nappa's back and uses self-destruct. Chiaotzu's death was in vain, as Nappa has barely a scratch on him.
Tien uses a final attack on Nappa, using up all of his energy and causing his death. Gohan attempts to wake up Piccolo, who was knocked unconscious by Nappa. Krillin assures Gohan that his father, Goku will arrive, citing that he's never let them down, but then it cuts to Goku back at Princess Snake's palace eating another huge meal.
Snake reminds him that there was something he had to do about Saiyans. Realizing his negligence, Goku rushes right back on Snake Way and continues his way back to Earth.
Vegeta rages at having been surpassed by Goku. Vegeta creates an artificial moon and transforms into a giant ape. King Kai tells Goku to use the spirit bomb to defeat Vegeta. Goku begins gathering the energy he needs but forgets to remain well hidden from the Saiyan ape, getting pummeled into the ground instantly Goku requests that he and Vegeta take their fight elsewhere, since fighting on a battleground littered with the corpses of his fallen friends just doesn't feel right. Relocating to a desert, Goku gives Vegeta one opportunity to leave Earth and never return, so no more blood needs to be shed before their fight begins.
Vegeta disregards Goku's offer as tripe and belittles him for growing soft from living on the planet for so long. Vegeta's completely overjoyed with his childish, idiotic partner finally dead. However, he still intends to kill everyone on Earth, including Goku and his friends.
Goku decides to face Vegeta on his own and instructs Gohan and Krillin to get as far away from the battlefield as possible. Now that Vegeta's gone, there's only the small matter of reviving everyone killed in the battle.
A task made somewhat harder by Piccolo and by extension Kami being dead too. Popo arrives to tell them about Namek, give them a space ship and generally freak everyone out. That sorted, all that's left is for Gohan, Krillian and Bulma to get going. But Chi-Chi has other ideas. Gohan, Bulma and Krillian reach Namek!
Meanwhile, KaiserNeko learns first hand the dangers of editing video for far too long. For Real this time! However, at the same time, Freeza and his men have also made their way there and Freeza has the strength of a hundred Vegetas!
Needless to say, Krillian is scared spit-less Whilst that's going on Vegeta lands on Namek, quickly disposes of Qui and goes on his own rampage. Finally, Goku recovers and makes his way to Dr. Briefs to get his own Spaceship to get to Namek. This is the second FAQ. Piccolo could not answer because turning it down the first time and Bojack was unable to answer due to King Kai's planet being in the way.
Gohan and the Space Duck witness Freeza wiping out a Namekian village in his search for the dragon balls. Meanwhile, on Earth, Goku goes to dr briefs and the Milfs to see about getting some transportation to Namek because After rescuing the sole survivor of Freiza's massacre Gohan and Krillin take flight.
Frieza sends one of his best henchmen Dedoria after them, and he is soon hot on their tail when Vegeta appears to intercept him and settle old scores. Vegeta joins the hunt race to collect all the Namekian dragon balls in a brutal fashion by also massacring one of the Namekian villages. Gohan and crew hatch a plan to stop both Frieza and Vegeta form getting the dragon balls and go to the eldest Namek's house to do so.
Mena while Vegeta faces off against Zarbon can he keep up his Winning streak? Frieza Sends Zabon to retrieve the knocked out Vegeta. After being captured Vegeta mounts a daring escape and absconds with Frieza's Dragon balls in the process. Krillin flying around like a jackass with his new Dragonball draws both Vegeta and Zarbon out where they face off one last time. After killing Zarbon, Vegeta takes the last dragon ball he needs from Krillin and goes off to retrieve the ball he hid.
In route, Vegeta runs into Gohan who has stolen Vegeta's dragon ball but manages to hide it before Vegeta can see. Knowing Vegeta will figure out who took his dragon ball Gohan and Krillin head to Guru's to unlock Gohan's potential. Once Vegeta finds out he was duped he flys into a blind rage and shoots off in pursuit. Just as he and Krillin are about to face off, Guru warns them that Several high power levels are approaching the planet.
Knowing this to be Freiza's most elite troop the Ginyu force Vegeta puts aside his quarrel to form an uneasy alliance with Gohan and Krillin to stop the Ginyu's. The newly formed team three-star race off to try to gather the dragon balls before the Ginyu Force can find them. Unfortunately, their gambit does not pay off and they are forced to fight The Ginyu's. Gohan and Krillin are faced with the formidable Guldo who psychic powers present a considerable threat can they take out this deadly foe?
A group of misfit minion aliens visit Earth to plant the Christmas Tree of Might and destroy Christmas once and for all. On the planet Vegeta, a Saiyan warrior; named Bardock gains the ability to see into the future and tries to stop the destruction of his planet, at the hands of the galactic tyrant Frieza.
After getting ahead of him, Vegeta disposes of Guldo helping Gohan and Krillin out of a bind. Vegeta then must confront the next challenger Recoom who looks to be one tough customer. The fight turns out to be one of the shows most brutal while also turning into a prime-time wrestling match.
Team three-star look to be on their last legs can they hold out until Goku Arrives? Meanwhile, Frieza tries to figure out how to use the dragon balls. Goku finally arrives and makes it just in time to back up team three star. After giving them all Sensu beans, he proceeds to wipe the floor with the Ginyu force with Jace fleeing to get captain Ginyu. Vegeta becomes a renegade for life.
After Jace retrieves Captain Ginyu, he and Goku come to blows. Vegeta hearing that Freiza has left his ship unguarded mysterious has to use the bathroom Frieza arrives at Guru house for technical support on their dragon balls only to confront a very snarky Nail and Guru. When it clear he is losing the fight Captain Ginyu uses his body-switching technique to steal Goku's body. After digging up the dragon balls, Gohan and Krillin are confronted by the newly swapped Captian Ginyu.
When Ginyu learns he cannot get the hang of Goku's body he attempts to switch again With disastrous results after Vegeta makes sure he croaks the gang has finally beat the Ginyu force. Team three-star put Goku in the pod to heal after their battle. Nail finally stops flying with Frieza, claiming the land they are on is his people's sacred battleground.
Frieza says it looks the same as everywhere else on the planet. After some racist remarks, Nail attacks him to no effect. Frieza grabs his arm and rips it off. Nail then surprises Frieza by growing it right back.
This fight, however, was all a ploy to buy Gohan and Krillin time to summon the dragon Frieza rushes back to stop them but its too late and he is none too happy. Flashes of scenes from the first 10 episodes distilled down to 2 minutes with some of the most choice jokes. The newly revived Piccolo rushes toward the main battle on his way there he spots the dying Nial who convinces him to use their people's secret fusion technique to bolster Piccalo strength.
Meanwhile, team three-star struggles against Frieza who even transformed into his stronger second form to show off. Piccolo Arrives and is holding off Frieza in his second form leading Vegeta to have some revelations about power levels. Things change however when Frieza shifts to his third form, and then after playing around with Piccolo finally turns into his final form.
Frieza who has transformed into his final form fights Vegeta who claims he is a Super Saiyan. Vegeta is badly beaten. Goku recovers and arrives finally meeting Frieza. Frieza then mortally wounds Vegeta. With his final breath, Vegeta tells Goku that Frieza killed their race.
The climatic showdown between Frieza and Goku begins. Goku gets beaten up by Frieza so he decides to use the Spirit Bomb. Piccolo steps in to give Goku the time to the Spirit Bomb by fighting Frieza. Frieza gets hit by the attack but survives and kills Krillin, then mortally wounds Piccolo.
With Frieza Badly wounded Goku shows him some kindness only for Frieza to throw it back in his face forcing Goku to finally put an end to him. Namek finally explodes with Goku's survival in question. The Namekians spend a year on earth while waiting for their dragon balls to recharge. Once the dragon is summoned a new Namek is made and old friends are brought back to life.
